Las previsiones para las elecciones al Parlamento Europeo de junio auguran un viraje importante hacia partidos populistas y radicales de derecha en toda Europa. El populismo antieuropeo gana cada vez más terreno y probablemente obtendrán resultados muy significativos en un gran número de países. Este viraje hacia una derecha más dura y populista tendrá un impacto importante en la calidad de la democracia en la UE y condicionara su papel de actor global.

Las Fundación Bertelsmann en Alemania, Estados Unidos y España, junto con las organizaciones Talento para el Futuro y Equipo Europa organizan esta conferencia para analizar los posibles resultados de las elecciones europeas y sus consecuencias tanto internas como externas. El análisis se hará mediante el uso de RANGE, la herramienta de previsión política que tiene como objetivo ofrecer un análisis preciso sobre procesos electorales futuros, de alta utilidad para la toma de decisiones.

The forecasts for the 2024 European Parliament elections suggest a major shift towards populist and radical right parties across the EU. Anti-European populists are gaining ground and will likely top the polls in an increasing number of countries. This hard right turn could have a significant impact on the state of democracy within the EU and its role as a global actor.  

The Bertelsmann Foundation and the youth organizations Talento para el Futuro and Equipo Europa have organized this conference to analyse the possible outcomes of the upcoming EP elections, and its consequences for the future of the European Union, both at home and abroad.  The analysis will be guided by the use of RANGE, the Bertelsmann tool aimed at forecasting political outcomes and providing accurate, insightful analysis and recommendations for policy makers.
